Romsey to Awbridge

Distance 3.4 miles, a straight walk, which starts at The Meads, Romsey. It is really lovely across the meads at the start, and then through Squabb Wood, only follow your GPS or map carefully, as there's a right-hand turn in the woods that we missed, and climbed a very steep hill unneccesarily. When you get to Awbridge, beware crossing Stanbridge Lane on a blind corner. There's a good layby, on Stanbridge Lane where you can park.

We meant to do this with two cars, but James' was in for an MOT, so we called a taxi from Abbey Cars, Romsey, and he was here in 10 minutes, and it only cost £7.

Near the end, beware strange field where the path goes to the middle of the field and turns right.

Park on the red circle below, and either load the GPX file into your GPS, or follow the TW signs.

You can scroll the map below simply by moving the mouse with the left-button held down.
